Mountain View Cemetery Association, a historic Olmsted designed cemetery located in the foothills of Oakland and Piedmont, is pleased to announce the opening of Piedmont Funeral Services. We now provide all funeral, cremation and celebratory services for families and the community at our 223 acre historic location. For our families and friends, the single site combination of services makes the difficult process of funeral arrangements easier.

Piedmont Funeral Services is uniquely situated to serve you. Our location, affiliation with historic Mountain View Cemetery, and our skilled staff combine to make fulfilling your funeral needs as easy as possible.

 

Convenient

Located at the east end of Piedmont Avenue and operated by Mountain View Cemetery Association, we are centrally located to the entire East Bay. All aspects of funeral arrangements are taken care of onsite at our garden campus.

Community

Piedmont Funeral Services is owned and operated by Mountain View Cemetery Association, a historic Olmsted designed nonprofit garden cemetery. Each year, guests visit the grounds to walk, take photos, reflect, have lunch, visit loved ones, and even learn to drive. Friends of Mountain View Cemetery foundation activities include educational docent tours, the annual Tulip Extravaganza, a music series and our fall Pumpkin Festival. When you support Piedmont Funeral Services, you are supporting a community resource that is both a place of reflection and a respite from urbanity.


Historic Grounds

Our historic facilities and architecture make us unique. Designed by historic architects, Weeks and Day, our Tower Chapel and Offices are light and airy spaces for both services and consultations. Parking is easy. The Cemetery, originally laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted, is a landscape of panoramic vistas, fountains and lush gardens.
